Squidoo vs. Hubpages

These sites allow you to create content pages where you can post text, links, and other supporting information. Generally you can put your links anywhere on the page. Which is better? It depends on your goals…but you should check out both as marketing tools that can help boost your backlink arsenal.

1.    Squidoo – http://www.squidoo.com
Squidoo is an interesting place for marketing. You set up a profile and create ‘lenses’ focused around various topics. You have the opportunity to make money from a shared revenue system but we recommend using it as a place for your articles. While you can use direct affiliate links here it is a good idea to use the redirect method from a domain similar to Ezinearticles. Don’t go overboard with links as they can flag your account as being spammish. Links can go anywhere in the content of the page.

Hubpages – http://www.hubpages.com
Hubpages is a site that is very similar to Squidoo. You setup an account and create ‘hubs’ around specific subjects. You can build up a following and also earn revenue not to mention get traffic to your affiliate offers at this great site. Hubpages is very picky on affiliate links so you will want to buy a cheap domain and use the forward method here as well. Links can go anywhere in the content of the page.
