How to Choose a Clickbank Product to Promote

After you’ve done your initial research on keywords and competition and found a good keyword phrase it is time to select a product to promote. We want to find a product that we can promote with those keywords to make money with.

One of the best places to find informational products to promote in all niches is Clickbank. Vendors have e-books and software available that you can promote and earn commissions as high as 75%. Clickbank is a reliable affiliate network and they always pay on time.

We are going to use the keyword phrase of ‘golf slice’ for our example of how to pick a clickbank product. Let’s go to the Clickbank Marketplace and find a golf product that matches our keyword phrase.

Enter “golf slice” with quotes in the find products box and hit the search button. This will return a match for the phrase and filter out unrelated items. Make sure to sort results by ‘Gravity’. In clickbank, gravity is an overall measurement of popularity and earnings for a product. Generally the higher the gravity number, the better when selecting a product to market. For specific niches like this one, gravity is not quite as important. 

You can click on the titles to check out the products. Usually you can get the main product information from the sales page for content ideas of what to write about if you want to presell the user. If you are doing a review of a product it might be a good idea to actually buy it.

To get your tracking link click on the ‘promote’ button that is circled and copy it to notepad for later use or paste it in as a link on your blog or Web site immediately to start tracking your sales.
