I’ve owned Market Samurai for over a year and consider it to be my #1 keyword research and keyword tracking tool. There are other solutions out there both free and paid that do some of the same things that Market Samurai does….but not as well and not all together in one nice package. The full version of Market Samurai comes with several different modules that are excellent tools for keyword research, keyword tracking, domain name research, promotion, and content creation and management. We will go through each module below and discuss the benefits that are offered:

Rank Tracker

No longer will you have to manually check your search engine rankings on the big three search engines. You simply enter your domain, including blogs that may be hosted elsewhere, and the keywords you are trying to rank for and Market Samurai will go out and pull up your rankings automatically within seconds. You can look at both broad and phrase results and also it will also pull up individual pages from your domain that may rank as well. It shows your backlinks and PR as well, making this an invaluable for tracking your marketing efforts and to see where your keywords are on the search engines over time. You set it up once and only have to click the update rankings button every time you want to see updated results. Besides using this to track my own domains, it’s also a nice way to track your articles on article directory sites if your trying to get them ranked.

Keyword Research

This is the heart of Market Samurai and the component that really shines. The interface is very intuitive and allows you to start with one keyword and expand to similar keywords with ease. You start by entering your keyword phrase and then Market Samurai goes to work by pulling data straight from Google for related keywords. If you’ve ever used the Google External Keyword tool you will notice that the results may look similar…except with one huge difference. For the keywords that you analyze, you will also be able to view competition values that Market Samurai calculates as well as other metric values to come up with keywords that are low in competition and high in demand. I have yet to see another keyword research tool that does this as quickly and easily as Market Samurai does.

SEO Competition

The SEO competition module in Market Samurai is another very valuable tool for looking at the competition of search results. Once you’ve found a keyword that has potential then you can pull this up and it will do a search for the top 10 results in Google and analyze the strength of their backlinks and other SEO values all in a colored matrix grid. The result is you can easily see how easy it will be to get a site ranked on the first page of Google by guaging your competition with green, yellow, and red colored boxes. The more green you see the easier it will be to dominate your competition.

Domains

This is a great tool for finding relevant and exact match domains quickly for your marketing campaigns. Simply enter your seed keywords and you can search for new and aged domains with the click of a button.

Monetization

The monetization module is a very cool way to find products to promote for the keyword you are promoting. Simply enter the keyword, select between multiple affiliate networks and set price filters to have Market Samurai go out and automatically find products that you can promote and make money with. A great way to quickly see if a keyword has monetization value and if it’s worth pursuing.

Find Content

A lot of people struggle with creating their own content and writing articles for their sites or to submit to article directories. Publish Content

Similar to the find content module you enter your keyword and search for sites that have related content. The magic of this module is that you will be locating potential sites to get backlinks from. You have the ability to analyze the strength of the pages that you find and view pagerank and other factors that may lead to quality link targets. Proxy Support
