Title and Meta Tags

Meta Tags are probably not as important as they used for ranking a site, but you still want to include them. Why?

It is a good idea to include your keyword in your title, description and as a keyword. You don’t want to overdo it and stuff the same keyword over and over again in your title, meta tags, or your entire page in general. The title tag is one of the single most important places to have your exact keyword phrase. A nice description will help people know the purpose of your site. If you don’t include a meta description then the search engines will generally pull text from the page and use it instead. Often this text may not be the most user friendly description of your site. Take the time to write out a nice description that will peak people’s interest. Keep in mind that for every page that you create you will want to modify the meta tags.

You should have the title set as your main keyword. The description is a brief summary of your site and invites people to see more by clicking through. We have included our main keyword as well as relative keywords in our keywords tag. Generally 3-5 keywords is considered acceptable for most pages. The other keywords that you use should be the ones that you choose to select when you write the content of your main page and use LSI for writing.
