Article directories are a great place to get backlinks from. You simply write an article based on your niche and include a backlink for your site. Affiliate links in article directories usually go in the author resource box but some allow them in the body of the article. Here are the top three article directories on the Web and more details below:

Ezinearticles is the king of article directories and the first place you should look to publish your article. The one thing to consider with Ezinearticles is you cannot post an affiliate link directly from your article or resource box. You must buy a domain (we will discuss this in a bit) and forward the domain to your affiliate link. This is acceptable practice and is easy to setup. Links go in the resource box here.

Articlesbase is growing fast and becoming one of the more popular article directories on the Web. You can get some good traffic from here and get your articles ranked on the search engines rather quickly with this article directory. You can link directly with affiliate links at Articlebase. Links are nofollow but since we are going for traffic here and not specifically building backlinks it doesn’t matter. You can put your links in the resource box here.
3. Go Articles – http://www.goarticles.com
Go articles is a great place to post articles to because the approval times are quick and you can have affiliate links directly in your article body or resource box.
